The rules of the road for using Trusio.
The short version: Use Trusio to make genuine introductions that benefit all parties. Don't spam, don't misrepresent yourself, don't abuse the platform. Your Connector Score reflects your real behaviour — game it and you'll lose it. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms.
By accessing or using Trusio ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Trusio Inc.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Trusio. You must provide accurate, complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Trusio exists to facilitate genuine, high-value professional introductions. You agree not to:
When you initiate an introduction on Trusio, you represent that you genuinely believe the connection would be valuable to both parties. By clicking "Send Introduction" you acknowledge that you are staking your professional reputation on that belief.
Trusio's double opt-in system is designed to protect all parties. Recipients have the right to decline any introduction without explanation. The platform will never reveal a recipient's declination to the other party.
Trusio is not responsible for the outcomes of introductions made through the platform — the quality and suitability of connections is the responsibility of the Connector.
Your Connector Score is calculated based on your real activity on the platform: introduction acceptance rates, post-connection value ratings, and consistency. Scores are dynamic and may increase or decrease following policy violations, suspected manipulation, or platform abuse. Scores are not transferable and have no cash value.
Paid tiers are billed monthly or annually as selected. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise Trusio to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Trusio and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Trusio Inc. and are protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
You retain ownership of content you create on the platform (your profile, contextual notes, and introduction messages). By using the platform, you grant Trusio a limited licence to use this content solely to operate and improve the platform.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Trusio may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or at our discretion with reasonable notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Trusio is not liable for the outcome of any introduction made through the platform, including but not limited to employment decisions, investment decisions, or business partnerships.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trusio's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Trusio in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Pulaski, Virginia, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
